Data collection is essential for all stakeholders in damage prevention. As Damage Prevention professionals, we are asked to understand and affect positive change.
Colorado is the first state to mandate One-Call facility owner damage information reporting. This was accomplished with the first Colorado e-business damage reporting system in January 2001. Since then we have collected your data and reported the findings and, by doing so, have created a national awareness in damage prevention.
The Utility Notification Center of Colorado (UNCC) would like to thank you for doing a fantastic job of submitting quality data for the past five years. UNCC would like to invite you to an informal breakfast session on October 20, 2006 at our facility in Golden.
During this breakfast session, technical information will be presented to those that are responsible for submitting and managing damage data on behalf of their organization. You will learn the evolution of DIRT North America, realize it's Colorado roots, and walk away with the tools and knowledge to continue submitting and managing your damage data in our new environment.
Please take this opportunity to gain the knowledge, share your experience, and learn from software engineers that designed, and developed both Colorado Damage Reporting and DIRT North America. I encourage you to come and learn what the future holds for damage reporting in the State of Colorado and North America (United States & Canada).
