Stakeholder,
A meeting was held
today in the Colorado room of Utility Notification
Center of Colorado at the request of Chip Taylor,
Executive Director, Colorado Counties Incorporated (CCI).
Those present were Chip Taylor UNCC legislative co-chair
and board member Dale Miller and J.D. Maniscalco.
The meeting was
requested to share and discuss modifications to the
current Colorado one-call legislation (CRS 9-1.5-101).
It is the intent of CCI to meet with industry
stakeholders prior to the 2008 legislative session to
address concerns and gain consensus. The CCI
proposed language and adjoining one-call laws
(excavation definitions by state) are specific to road
maintenance and landscaping exemptions.
