Hello again Ladies and Gentlemen,
I wanted to get out a reminder for our upcoming meeting and pass along some of the documents relating to the Enforcement and Exemptions sub-committees have worked on. Membership has not provided anything to me yet, but I will pass it along if I receive it before the meeting.
The meeting is scheduled for November 8, 2006 @ 9:00 am at the Colorado Contractor Association offices (6880 South Yosemite Court, Suite 200 Centennial, Colorado 80112-1421) in the Valley High room.
The primary agenda for this meeting will be to discuss the work done on Enforcement and Membership and define a plan for moving forward with the legislation.
Attached is the updated Enforcement language that we have drafted. We will take some time to discuss this document and address the suggestions for Sunrise application.
In terms of Membership, we will discuss the proposals made by the workgroup and hope to have a reasonable solution to this issue.
Please join us at this meeting as we are prepared to continue moving forward with legislation for the 2007 legislative session and encourage the good faith input that each of you can offer toward providing a solution to underground utility damage
prevention.
